Here’s how ReturnLogic™ works:
LetterLogic adds a barcode to your letter, instructing the post office to electronically send return mail information directly to LetterLogic instead of your organization for processing. We fully manage the disposition of your return mail for you.
LetterLogic receives this electronic return mail data from the post office explaining the date of the return and the specific reason for the return, including all USPS notes and any handwritten notes on the envelope (e.g. DECEASED, etc.). You will also learn if the letter has been forwarded, and if the addressee has filled out a “temporary away card” at the post office. Each piece of mail is scanned by LetterLogic and a report is created daily that documents these notes for your records.
