Here’s how LocationLogic™ works:
Every time you upload a file to LetterLogic, each individual address provided is initially compared to the US Postal Service’s database and verified as being both correctly formatted and an accurate zip +4 postal address. We even use an application called SuiteLink that will correct and append missing suite information on business addresses. As an added value, LetterLogic then processes your mail list using several additional services to ensure that mailings are handled using the most current address.
At the heart of LocationLogic™ is the premium National Change of Address database NOCALink48, which helps reduce undeliverable mail by providing the most current address information before mail enters the mailstream. Featuring the industry’s leading move updating technology, NOCALink48 searches for address changes filed with the USPS® (over 160 million) within the last 48 months to verify the most recent address for your addressee.
Once addresses are completely processed through these systems and databases, they are sent to our production department for mailing – formatted, verified, and up-to-date.
For every file we process to mail on your behalf, LetterLogic will send you an easy-to-understand report of the status of each address, including updates and suppressions.
