Green Initiatives

LetterLogic is a progressive company with a strong commitment to green environmental practices. Our company meets its business needs by selecting products which are Energy Star^® compliant or otherwise green-certified.

Internal Recycling & Sustainable Product Sourcing

LetterLogic recycles nearly four tons of cardboard and paper each month. We source our paper stocks from forests managed to produce trees both now and far into the future, planting more trees to replace those that are cut down and preventing the destruction of old-growth forests.

We also use a biodegradable corn-starch film for our envelope windows instead of the more common petroleum-based products used in our industry.

Facility Energy Savings

Periodic energy audits help us reduce our power consumption. In June of 2008, LetterLogic saved nearly 3000 kilowatt-hours of electricity as compared to the previous year--that's enough to power two homes for a month.

Waste Reduction

Instead of using Styrofoam cups and plates for our break room supplies, we have opted for re-washable and reusable restaurant-style dishes and flatware. Our commitment to the environment reaches every area of our business, and we constantly seek ways to improve our efforts to act in an environmentally friendly way as a company.
